NeighborWorks Community Partners (NCP): Green Energy Improvements

  • NeighborWorks 570 South Avenue Rochester, NY, 14620 United States (map)

Green Energy Improvements: What Does Energy Mean to You?

NCP’s Green Energy Improvements workshop provides an overview of home energy use issues experienced by homeowners. We discuss the different types of heating equipment available (furnaces, boilers, heat pumps) and how these impact your energy use. We also discuss the numerous ways in which our homes waste energy and our dollars, from phantom electric usage to effects of air leaks and lack of insulation. This workshop ends by providing several tips and tricks to help homeowners save on electric and gas use.

*Parking and Entrance to NeighborWorks is in the back of the building and is best accessed by Hamilton St. or Averill Ave.
